Decades of experience
Aboa Events’ predecessor, the University of Turku Congress Office, started operations in 1992. We specialise in scientific and educational events and have more than 30 years of experience. While organising congresses in the colourful field of science is our forte, we can organise any type of event according to the client’s wishes. We strive to be at the forefront of innovation, growth and sustainable development.
Aboa Events is an event producer that helps its clients to communicate their message through events, making each event unique.

At our events, we prioritise local partners, minimise food waste and single-use materials. We use recycled and sustainable materials and digitise materials wherever possible. Our hybrid solutions also make it possible to attend events virtually, making them more accessible and reducing the environmental impact of travel. In this way, we strengthen both the local economy and the carbon footprint.
